Optimal Control of the Business Activity during a Pandemic
时间：2021年11月30日（周二） 16:00-18:00 地点：SD307 摘要：The Covid-19 pandemic has put in the forefront the need to balance the health benefits and the economic costs when it comes to imposing constraints on business activity. We are the first to study an optimization problem that contains both a flow and a reservoir component satisfying the local substitution property, and obtain structural and closed-form solutions of the optimal control policy for both finite horizon (the pandemic ends when a vaccine arrives) and infinite horizons (no vaccine). 报告人简介：赵琳，西南财经大学工商管理学院教授、博士生导师。在清华大学数学系取得理学学士学位、理学博士学位。主要研究方向包括决策理论与方法、行为经济学、行为管理学，以及它们在投资、生产和消费决策方面的应用。在Management Science、European Journal of Operational Research、Review of Corporate Finance Studies、Journal of Risk and Insurance等国际期刊上发表三十余篇学术论文，主持多项国家自然科学基金课题以及电商平台合作研发课题等。目前担任Management Science决策分析领域Associate Editor。
